Sony Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet get a performance update

The recently launched Sony Xperia Z2 flagship and its Xperia Z2 Tablet companion are reportedly receiving firmware updates in various markets globally.


There is no official change log on the update notifications, but various users are reporting a noticeable performance boost once they've updated their Z2 devices.
The new firmware weighs about 121MB and is available both over-the-air and via the Sony PC Companion Suite. The update is available in the Nordic regions, Germany and Russia among other countries.
