Apple quietly launches a 32GB iPhone 6 for Asian markets

Apple has recently launched an updated version of the iPhone 6 for Asian markets. While the iPhone 6 originally launched in 2014, it was available in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB memory tiers. This new iPhone 6 will become available with 32GB of internal storage in the Gold finish.
This particular model has already been available in China as a low-end model, sold by third-party retailers. The same model will become available for Taiwan Mobile on March 10. By contrast, the low-end model that pertains to larger markets is the iPhone SE, which has better internals than the iPhone 6, along with the smaller 4-inch display.
Taiwan Mobile will offer the Gold 32GB iPhone 6 for “free” with a 30 month contract for about 45 USD per month (1,399 NT).

Galaxy S5 pre-orders in Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic

Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-orders continue to expand throughout Eurasia – following the Netherlands and Romania , the new flagship is now available for pre-order in Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic . In Sweden, the Galaxy S5 is available for around SEK 6,200 (€700 / $950) off contract, but several carriers have offers too. Tre (Swedish Three) prices start at SEK 328 / month and the carrier will throw in a free 32GB microSD card . Telia has it at SEK 380 / month and SEK 6,400 on prepaid. Tele2 has the blue Galaxy S5 (the other two carriers have only Black and White) and with a 2-year contract, the monthly cost is SEK 424. A pre-paid option is available too at SEK 6,400. In Russia , Samsung's official page advertises the pre-order at RUB 30,000 (€600 / $830). If you pre-order by April 9, you'll get a RUB 2,000 voucher to spend on Samsung Apps. Alleged HTC Butterfly S successor shows up in AnTuTu database

A mysterious HTC device with high-end specs made an appearance in the AnTuTu benchmark database. Carrying the model number 0PAJ3, the mysterious handset could be a successor to the HTC Butterfly S . HTC 0PAJ3 specs (click to enlarge) Listed specs of the HTC 0PAJ3 include Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 1080p display, and 16GB of built-in memory. The OS is Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Curiously, the yet to be revealed device appears to have a conventional 13MP main camera instead of the UltraPixel camera of the HTC One (M8). The front-facing snapper is a 5MP unit. There are no available announcement or availability details on the HTC 0PAJ3 for the time being. Oppo confirms the Find 7 will have a 2K screen

The upcoming Oppo Find 7 is rumored to have a lot of cool specs, among which a 2K screen that's as big as 5.7". Oppo officially denied that the Find 7 will have a 5.7" screen (or a 7" one for that matter), but now the company is confirming the 2K resolution. Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. Telegram updated with live location, new media player and languages

Telegram has updated its iOS and Android app with a handful of new features. For starters, users can now share their location in real time with a group. While sharing your location, you will now be asked to share your location live for fifteen minutes, one hour or eight hours. This can come handy while coordinating your position with a group and not having to manually post your location every few minutes. Group members will be able to see your current location on a map at all times. The other change is to the media player. Telegram now has a proper music player interface built-in for all the audio files people send. You can tap on a track to play it, then tap on the bar that pops up above to see the player UI. It even shows other tracks sent in the conversation within the tracklist.
