First HTC M8 Ace render leaks as the company teases curvy design

Following a blurry photo of the HTC (M8) Ace's front, a render of the phone's back panel is now upon us. Thanks to the Chinese news outlet ifanr, we can catch a glimpse of what rumors suggest is a plastic variant of the One (M8).


Made entirely out of polycarbonate in order to reduce manufacturing costs and better compete with the Samsung Galaxy S5, the phone seemingly lacks its premium brother's dual-camera setup. The layout, however, is quite similar, but instead of the One (M8)'s 4MP sensor, there's a LED flash. We're yet to see if below it, HTC will fit an UltraPixel sensor or a regular 8MP or 13MP camera.
Meanwhile, HTC teased that "more beautiful curves are coming soon." Citing a quote by English novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton, the company teases a phone that would feature curves in its design.
Further information on the HTC (M8) Ace is scarce, but some rumors suggest it will have a 5" 1080p display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU. Most importantly, the launch price of the smartphone is said to be CN¥3,000 (around $480). This means that the M8 Ace will be quite a lot cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S5 when available, placing it in a more competitive stance./p>

Grand Theft Auto V Dominates US Sales in September

Nintendo's 3DS wins the hardware war. The NPD Group has revealed the top ten best-selling games in the United States for the month of September, 2013. Total sales – including hardware, software, and accessories – amounted to $1.079 billion for the month, up 27 percent from the same month last year. While hardware sales were down 13 percent compared to September of 2012 -- $183.2 million in hardware was sold this month – accessories were up two percent, and software sales were up a staggering 40 percent. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) specs leak once again

An alleged update of Samsung's Galaxy A5 model, predictably named the A5 (2017) has been circulating the rumor mill for some time now. Rockstar Unveils New GTA V Screens, Los Santos Travelogue

12 new images of the action in Los Santos. Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V is just a little over a month away from launch, but you can check out 12 just released screenshots right now. The images show an assortment of urban and rural areas in the sprawling Los Santos, and another look at the action from under the water. And hey, if extreme car chases aren't your thing, there's even a picture of Michael playing some tennis and apparently pointing at something. But Rockstar released more than just screenshots on Tuesday, adding a travelogue where you can explore some areas of Los Santos and Blaine County in more detail. The site is broken into categories, showing off new vehicles and explaining some of the current political climate you'll face when the game launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17. Video shot on LG V20 details the advantages of Android 7.0 Nougat

With no IFA to worry about, LG is setting up for its own September 6 party and it's cooking up some nougat - but the recipe is half about actual nougat and half about how awesome the new LG V20 will be. It will be the first phone to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat (no Nexus event yet). There's a heavy emphasis on multitasking - fast switching between apps (double tap the App switcher key), split pop-up video, quick notification replies, drag and drop between apps and more. The event will be held in San Francisco and Seoul and will come just after the bustle of IFA has died down. The V20 will have V10's secondary screen, its dual selfie camera AND G5's dual back camera for good measure.
