Apple iPhone 6 dummy gets the video hands-on treatment

Remember the iPhone 6 dummy unit that leaked a few days ago? It got pictured and spilled the beans on the iPhone 6's footprint, design, screen size and resolution. We've already seen similar dummies leak dark gray and gold flavors too.

Anyway, in case those live pictures weren't enough for you and you want to see a proper iPhone 6 hands-in treatment - now you can have it. The dummy gets compared in this video to an iPhone 5s, the 4.7" Moto X and the 5" HTC One (M8).
The Moto X comparison shows that Apple might not have done quite as well as we hoped with the bezels as the iPhone 6 appears much bigger despite the same screen size.
So, the next iPhone will come with 4.7" display, big bezels, hardware Home key, rounded edges and aluminum shell. It's going to be impressively thin, too.
The iPhone 6 is expected to go official in early September, as usual, and launch shortly after. Hopefully Apple has a few nice surprises in store for us.

Android turned 8 just a few days ago and the Hiroshi Lockheimer (SVP of Android, Chrome OS and Play) teased that "from now we'll be talking about Oct 4, 2016." What's the big deal? Here's the rumor roundup, much of which has been confirmed by several solid leaks. Apple will automatically download macOS Sierra on supported computers

If you're rocking a Mac that supports the macOS Sierra release which became available last month, and still haven't installed the latest iteration of the operating system, this is for you. Starting today, Apple will automatically push the macOS Sierra download to supported Macs which aren't up to date yet. Thankfully, the actual installation of the new OS will not be automatic, however. You're still given a choice to do that when it's most convenient for you. Clearly though, Apple's taking a leaf from Microsoft's book here, as that company has become notorious for pushing Windows 10 onto (unsuspecting) Windows 7 and Windows 8 users across the world. WSJ: Apple and Google are in a tussle over mobile games exclusivity

According to e report in The Wall Street Journal , Apple and Google are in a battle to secure exclusive rights over popular mobile games. The two giants are said to be hard at work at courting top-tier game developers to ensure their games arrive on iOS or Android first. Neither Apple nor Google offer developers money for exclusive titles. Instead, they place the coveted titles prominently in their app stores. A prime spot in an app store could cause a tenfold spike in daily downloads, thus resulting in massive revenue.
