Galaxy S5 prime capable of 225 Mbps downloads?

The rumor mill is churning again, and this time, it’s about some supposed download speeds of the Galaxy S5 prime.

Not only will the high-end version of Samsung’s latest flagship receive an upgraded chassis, but the handset should receive an under-the-hood performance boost as well.
Apparently, the S5 Prime will be sporting a Qualcomm MDM9635 multimode modem. What’s so special about this piece of technology and what does it mean for the handset?
Well, the MDM9635 is said to be the first cellular modem that utilizes 20 nm technology and it also supports something called global carrier aggregation, (40 MHz for FDD Category 6 and LTE TDD). Now when you combine this with the LTE-Advanced Network that will be rolling out on SK Telecom, then that means that your Galaxy S5 Prime could be downloading data at a blazing fast rate of 225 Mbps.
Now all of these numbers are of course, contingent upon ideal scenarios. However, it is cool to know that the S5 Prime will be capable of these numbers.
Are you colored impressed? Or are you more interested in seeing how the S5 Prime will perform in real-world situations?
