96 percent of people who own an iPad also own a laptop

Microsoft’s corporate Vice President Panos Panay revealed an interesting stat at the on-going Surface event in New York.

The executive said that according to a research, 96% of the people who own an iPad also own a laptop. He further talked about how three years ago people thought that tablets would kill the laptop – “That was supposed to happen, for sure.”
Pranay also took the opportunity to explain the differences between tablets and laptops before he took the wraps of the company’s latest tablet hybrid – Surface Pro 3. Microsoft says it’s the first tablet specifically designed to replace your laptop and alter that stat.
