PS4′s streaming game service, Playstation Now, gets beta

Sony’s Playstation Now streaming game service has been receiving praise from the few who have tried it, but most of us haven’t been able to test it out.

Until now. Sony has announced that the Beta for Playstation now will be dropping on May 20th, which is, yes, you read that right, tomorrow.
They announced the news via the PS Blog, and if you’re one of the lucky new testers for the beta, you’ll be receiving an email asking you to try out Playstation Now soon.
The PS3 beta is also being made available to more users, so if you still have your Playstation 3 and haven’t received your invite in the mail yet, you might be in luck.
It’ll be interesting to see what Sony does with Playstation Now if users respond positively to the beta. The ability to stream games across a variety of devices definitely seems like the future of console gaming. Have you received your Playstation Now beta? If so, let us know in the comments!

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. The overhaul will include a new, flexible OLED display. Additionally, the report says that Samsung has gone to quite the extremes and has changed all the parts that look “dull or boring.” Previous rumors have hinted that the Gear 2 might be 15-20% thinner than the first generation. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

This way for the Marshmallow trial. Sony's Concept for Android initiative will allow 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact owners to beta test Android's new major version. The new software is built on feedback Sony received from the initiative launched earlier this year. If you want in, you'll have to check in with the Concept Sign-up app . It's first come, first serve so there's an element of urgency. Note that the test is limited to select European countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Ireland or Germany. G4 bootloops are caused by hardware issue, LG vows to repair affected units

Many owners of the LG G4 have complained about a bootloop issue, but so far without receiving any assistance whatsoever from the Korean smartphone maker. Well, that's finally changed. LG has now acknowledged the bootloop issue, and after a thorough investigation has concluded that a hardware problem is to blame. Specifically, the bootloops are caused by a "loose contact between components". The company has vowed to fix the problem for affected devices, with no additional cost for its customers of course. It turns out that the G4 units experiencing this are not from one particular retail partner - they can be among those sold by carriers, or third-parties.
