Nvidia Tegra Note is a 7-inch Tegra 4-Powered Android Tablet

Suggested retail price of $199.

Back in June, Nvidia began teasing its upcoming Tegra 4 tablet, the Tegra Tab. But according to today's announcement, the platform has been renamed and a retail price set. The new Tegra Note is taking aim at the lower-cost 7-inch tablet market, offering respectable features with a starting price of $199.

The Tegra Note platform will include a 1280 x 800 LCD display, backed by a Tegra 4 processor with a quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU (plus a fifth "battery-saver" core) and a 72-core GeForce GPU. According to Nvidia, the Tegra Note is the "world's fastest 7-inch tablet." Additionally, the platform offers 16GB of storage--expandable to 32GB via microSD card--and a micro HDMI port so you can play Android games on your HDTV.
A rear-facing 5MP camera, front-facing VGA webcam, and stereo speakers round out the hardware for the Tegra Note. The device has a heavy focus on stylus interaction, taking advantage of Nvidia's DirectStylus technology. The stock Android OS running on the Tegra Note will receive over-the-air updates directly from Nvidia.
You might have noticed the curious references above to the Tegra Note as a "platform." Nvidia won't sell the Note directly; a strange choice given its recent foray into the mobile game space with the Shield. Instead, manufacturing partners PNY and EVGA will take the reigns in North America, while Oysters, ZOTAC, and EVGA will produce the Tegra Note tablets in Europe.

Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model while the touchscreen controller goes back to the iPhone 5s. 12.2-inch version of the Lenovo Yoga Book with Android shows up at Amazon priced at just $299.99

At IFA last year, Lenovo turned some heads with its Yoga Book, a 2-in-1 laptop / tablet hybrid that doesn't have an actual physical keyboard. Instead, its so-called Halo Keyboard is flat and doubles as a writing surface, complete with predictive input and autocorrect functionality. So far the Yoga Book has been available with a 10.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, running either Windows or Android. A model with Chrome OS on board is coming this year, but also a bigger one too. While the Chrome OS Yoga Book has been confirmed by Lenovo already, a 12.2-inch Yoga Book has been listed by Amazon without any proper official introduction. HTC One (M8) for Windows now available on Amazon for $50

Verizon's HTC One (M8) for Windows is now available for purchase at Amazon US. It costs just $49.99 with a two-year contract. You can get the contract-free (but Verizon-branded) model for $599.99. The smartphone went official a week ago as a Verizon exclusive. Its hardware absolutely identical with its Android-powered sibling - the HTC One (M8) flagship, but runs on Windows Phone 8.1. As we already know n the HTC One (M8) for Windows will be a limited time exclusive, as AT&T has already confirmed it will be selling it later this year. Today various reports suggest the phone is coming to T-Mobile and Sprint, too.
