Report says Moto M (XT1663) will feature rear-mounted fingerprint sensor

The Motorola Moto M (XT1663), which was spotted on GFXBench earlier this month, will feature a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, according to a new report. The moto dimple at the back will double as the sensor.
The report also says that design-wise, the Moto M will be similar to the Motorola Moto G from 2014 (shown below).
In case you missed, the phone's GFXBench listing revealed that it is powered by a Mediatek MT6750 SoC with octa-core 1.9GHz processor, and sports a 4.6-inch full HD display.
RAM is 3GB, while storage is 32GB. In terms of camera, the Moto M features a 16MP main unit and an 8MP front shooter. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

British Cortana to sound different than her American counterpart

One of Windows Phone 8.1′s headline features is Cortana, the Siri-like voice assistant built into the OS. Unfortunately, the feature so far only works in the US, but it will soon be coming to the UK, with a difference. As you may know, the US version of Cortana is voiced by Jen Taylor, the same person who provided the voice for Cortana in the Halo series of games, from where the feature is borrowed for Windows Phone. Understandably, the UK version of this feature will have another voice with a native accent to make it more familiar to users. Other than the different voice and accent, the British Cortana will work the same way as her American counterpart but if you’re expecting to hear the same voice from the Halo games you are going to be disappointed.

Checkout the new time-lapse mode in iOS 8

One of the new features in iOS 8 is time-lapse mode in the Camera app. For those who don’t know, time-lapse mode takes a series of photographs with a few second interval and in the end combines all the images into a video, which when played looks like a fast-forwarded video. It’s not something you’d use often but it’s a cool thing to have and definitely gives some cool results as we will see now. The following video was shot on an iPhone 5s running iOS 8 beta. There currently are no options regarding the time-lapse mode in typical Apple fashion and you just swipe left in the Camera app until you reach the time-lapse setting and then start recording.

Not worth chasing. Every time I pick Storm up, its fresh physics puzzler ideas and sharp terrain design make me think that this particular session will be more enjoyable than the last. Before long, however, I’m thrown back into the frustrating and often rage-inducing dungheap of mishap after mishap, and reminded of why I put it down. YouTube for Android gets a design update

YouTube for Android has received a new design-related update. It's a server-side update that relocates the navigation bar to the bottom of the application. The bar was earlier at the top (the leftmost screenshot in the image below). Not only this, the color scheme has also been reversed - the navigation bar in the updated app has white background with red-colored tab indicators.
