Galaxy S8 to have dual rear camera, 8 MP selfie snapper and iris scanner

Now that the Galaxy Note7 is official, the rumors are starting to focus on Samsung's next flagship - yes, the Galaxy S8 that should only be announced next year. The fact that we're still many months away from that event isn't stopping Chinese leakers from allegedly outing details about the S8 already.
Case in point - today's report that says the device will sport a dual rear camera arrangement. One of the units will have 12 MP resolution, while the other will be 13 MP. The company will once again source cameras from both its own division making them, but also Sony. The Samsung model for this dual camera is apparently S5K2L2, while Sony's is unknown for now.
The Galaxy S8 will also have an 8 MP selfie shooter, which would mark the first increase in resolution for the front camera in Samsung's flagships in many years. Additionally, there will be another camera above the display, and this will be there because the S8 is getting the iris scanning functionality that made its debut in the Note7.
Other details haven't been outed yet, but don't be surprised if we'll be swimming in S8-related rumors in the next few weeks. The floodgates seem to have opened already.
