Beta testing for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3's Marshmallow build to begin soon
Xiaomi will start beta testing the Redmi Note 3
Marshmallow build in the near future. In fact - according to MIUI’s
operations manager, who goes by @RanGer on Weibo - the testing was
supposed to begin earlier this week, but was postponed following some
last minute issues.
What's worth mentioning here is that @RanGer was only talking about the Snapdragon variant of the handset, with no mention of the phone's MediaTek version
in his post. This could possibly mean that either the MediaTek variant
won't be getting the Marshmallow update (less likely) or it will get the
update but not as soon (more probable).
