Nokia releases new Lumia 2520 ad

The Nokia Lumia 2520 parade of ads just keeps on coming. A couple of days ago the Finns released a rather unorthodox video ad, which aimed to promo the tablet to be suitable for both work and play, while the previous one mocked the iPad.

Now, the latest Nokia’s latest ad piece of the Lumia 2520 is far more tastefully done in a 3D animation style and has a lot more positive vibe going for it. It shows a playful dog being walked in a park by its owner who may or may not be carrying an iPad. However, because its screen is too reflective to be good for outdoor usage, he seeks shady places, which doesn’t please the dog.
In the end, a Lumia 2520 owner shows up and saves the day by ordering pizza on his tablet. You can probably connect the pieces by now – unlike the iPad, the Lumia 2520 is great for outdoor usage.

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. The overhaul will include a new, flexible OLED display. Additionally, the report says that Samsung has gone to quite the extremes and has changed all the parts that look “dull or boring.” Previous rumors have hinted that the Gear 2 might be 15-20% thinner than the first generation. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

This way for the Marshmallow trial. Sony's Concept for Android initiative will allow 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact owners to beta test Android's new major version. The new software is built on feedback Sony received from the initiative launched earlier this year. If you want in, you'll have to check in with the Concept Sign-up app . It's first come, first serve so there's an element of urgency. G4 bootloops are caused by hardware issue, LG vows to repair affected units

Many owners of the LG G4 have complained about a bootloop issue, but so far without receiving any assistance whatsoever from the Korean smartphone maker. Well, that's finally changed. LG has now acknowledged the bootloop issue, and after a thorough investigation has concluded that a hardware problem is to blame. Specifically, the bootloops are caused by a "loose contact between components". The company has vowed to fix the problem for affected devices, with no additional cost for its customers of course.
