Call of Duty: Ghosts Update Adds Heavy Duty Multiplayer Mode And Fixes

Additional health, new loadouts, and more in this update. 

A new multiplayer mode called "Heavy Duty" is now available for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Those who own the FPS on any console (except Wii U) can update their game to get the mode for free. Additionally, the update brings a few bug fixes, balance changes, and other improvements.
Heavy Duty Mode is a fresh multiplayer playlist that offers a somewhat more stress-free firefight. In the mode, players will have increased health so the game becomes less about who shoots first and more about strategy. For those who want to give their input on their experience with the new playlist, Infinity Ward is looking to collect player feedback on the mode. Unfortunately, while Heavy Duty Mode is available for most consoles, there's been no word on when a Wii U version is coming.
In addition to Heavy Duty mode, the latest CoD: Ghosts patch added new loadouts to Infected Mode and gave five squad points to each soldier in the first five levels of progression.
Even though Heavy Duty is out, don't forget about the upcoming Double XP weekend happening between 12/27 at 10 AM PST through 12/30 at 10 AM PST.

Microsoft has made yet another app for Android, this time a keyboard. The Microsoft Hub Keyboard looks like a simple keyboard at first but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The keyboard has four main features. The clipboard feature shows you text you had previously copied so you can paste it with a couple of taps. The documents feature lets you login to your Office 365 account and paste the URL of the files by typing their names. The contacts feature lets you type the name of the contact and paste their details by tapping on the suggestions above. Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model while the touchscreen controller goes back to the iPhone 5s. 12.2-inch version of the Lenovo Yoga Book with Android shows up at Amazon priced at just $299.99

At IFA last year, Lenovo turned some heads with its Yoga Book, a 2-in-1 laptop / tablet hybrid that doesn't have an actual physical keyboard. Instead, its so-called Halo Keyboard is flat and doubles as a writing surface, complete with predictive input and autocorrect functionality. So far the Yoga Book has been available with a 10.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, running either Windows or Android. A model with Chrome OS on board is coming this year, but also a bigger one too. While the Chrome OS Yoga Book has been confirmed by Lenovo already, a 12.2-inch Yoga Book has been listed by Amazon without any proper official introduction. It's not available yet, but it does have a price: $299.99 running Android. That's oddly cheaper than what the 10-inch Yoga Book costs with Google's OS, namely $499. HTC One (M8) for Windows now available on Amazon for $50

Verizon's HTC One (M8) for Windows is now available for purchase at Amazon US. It costs just $49.99 with a two-year contract. You can get the contract-free (but Verizon-branded) model for $599.99. The smartphone went official a week ago as a Verizon exclusive. Its hardware absolutely identical with its Android-powered sibling - the HTC One (M8) flagship, but runs on Windows Phone 8.1. As we already know n the HTC One (M8) for Windows will be a limited time exclusive, as AT&T has already confirmed it will be selling it later this year. Today various reports suggest the phone is coming to T-Mobile and Sprint, too.
