Logitech's PowerShell is an Official iOS 7 Game Controller

Also includes 1500 mAh battery.

Over the years, a few third-party outfits have attempted to bring analog controls to iOS with varying levels of success. But thanks to a recently launched initiative from Apple, companies like Logitech are finally releasing iPhone-ready game controllers with backing from Cupertino.

The PowerShell is a snap-on case of sorts, featuring the requisite inputs one would expect to find on any standard game controller. After inserting an iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, or fifth-gen iPod Touch (running iOS 7), you'll have access to four face-buttons, a directional pad, and two shoulder bumpers.
And lest this iOS controller drain the battery life of a compatible iOS device, the PowerShell also packs in a 1500 mAh battery--connecting to a power adapter will simultaneously charge both the iPhone and controller.
The Logitech PowerShell is available today for $100 at Best Buy and Apple's online store. At launch, a number of popular iOS games are already compatible, but given the official backing of Apple's Made for iPhone framework, developers could easily add support for nearly any game.
