HP Elite x3 to receive Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update on September 13

While Sony is facing issues with the rollout of the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update, HP has revealed its plans for the update of the Elite X3 to the latest version of Microsoft's mobile OS.
The company detailed in a FAQ page today the HP Elite x3 will receive the Anniversary Update on September 13. That's just a day after the device hits US stores.
One of the key features for the Elite x3 will be the Windows Information Protection (formerly known as EDP), which will provide ways to secure Corporate data and the ability to block, log, or alert any attempt to inappropriately copy, paste, open, or save encrypted data.
A number of small inconveniences are also going to be fixed such as the phone's rather slow SIM card register and a lenghty wait for the phone to power off.
For those who want to hack into the device or taste the Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 builds, the HP Elite x3 will be a slight disappointment. The phone doesn't yet support the Windows Device Recovery Tool and flashing the preview builds is a risky endeavor.

Grand Theft Auto V Dominates US Sales in September

Nintendo's 3DS wins the hardware war. The NPD Group has revealed the top ten best-selling games in the United States for the month of September, 2013. Total sales – including hardware, software, and accessories – amounted to $1.079 billion for the month, up 27 percent from the same month last year. While hardware sales were down 13 percent compared to September of 2012 -- $183.2 million in hardware was sold this month – accessories were up two percent, and software sales were up a staggering 40 percent. When console, portable, and PC games are taken together, software sales amounted to $768.6 million. Rockstar Unveils New GTA V Screens, Los Santos Travelogue

12 new images of the action in Los Santos. Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V is just a little over a month away from launch, but you can check out 12 just released screenshots right now. The images show an assortment of urban and rural areas in the sprawling Los Santos, and another look at the action from under the water. And hey, if extreme car chases aren't your thing, there's even a picture of Michael playing some tennis and apparently pointing at something. But Rockstar released more than just screenshots on Tuesday, adding a travelogue where you can explore some areas of Los Santos and Blaine County in more detail. The site is broken into categories, showing off new vehicles and explaining some of the current political climate you'll face when the game launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17. Oppo R9s Plus spotted on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 653 SoC, 6GB RAM

After the Oppo R9s, now the R9s Plus has also been spotted on AnTuTu, revealing some of its key specs. According to the benchmark listing, the Plus variant is powered by Snapdragon 653 SoC and has 6GB of RAM. Rest of the R9s Plus specs revealed by AnTuTu are same as that of the R9s: full HD display, 16MP/16MP camera combo, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Oppo R7s will reportedly also have a 4GB RAM option

While we already knew that Oppo's upcoming R7s smartphone will have 3GB RAM, it has now been revealed that the device will also be offered in a 4GB RAM variant. For those who aren't in the know, other rumored specifications of the handset include Snapdragon 615 SoC, 5.5-inch FullHD AMOLED display, 32GB expandable internal memory, 13MP/8MP camera combo, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
