Halo: Spartan Assault Coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360

Millions more gamers will finally get a crack at the latest Halo.

In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, Microsoft has announced that Halo: Spartan Assault -- the top-down, twin-stick shooter previously exclusive to Windows Phone, Surface, and Windows 8 -- will be released as an Xbox One and Xbox 360 digital download this December. A price has not yet been confirmed.
Co-developed by 343 Industries and Vanguard Games (makers of Gatling Gears), Spartan Assault is set during the time between Halo 3 and Halo 4 and stars Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer and Spartan Davis. It chronicles the very first Spartan Ops missions. The Xbox One and 360 versions will add the Flood as a new enemy along with online co-op and new co-op missions, weapons and armor abilities, Achievements, as well the five missions from the Operation Hydra DLC.

P.S. I predicted this with 100% accuracy back on June 4. :-)
