Game Debuts
Hello Hero – (Freemium)
This new RPG prides itself on its array of totally ridiculous playable heroes, including one of those dance-to-the-music plastic potted cactus characters you'd find in a dollar store. Take a look:
Dead Trigger 2 – (Freemium)
It's yet another zombie shooter, but this sequel is at least bringing something new to the table – gameplay happens in real time, and the progress you make in suppressing the undead hordes is reflected in every other current player's game as well. If you work together well enough with all the others out there, you could actually save the world:
Strike Wing: Raptor Rising – ($0.99)
Crescent Moon Games slingshots us into outer space for a little interstellar combat:

Hazel Dazzle – ($2.99)
A new Zelda-like from Wake Studios, with a splash of outer space itself:
Infinity Danger – ($0.99)
Making the jump to the App Store today from Xbox Live Indie Games, Infinity Danger is a shoot-'em-up with style. Here's a look at how it played on the console a few years ago:
Echo Prime – ($4.99)
From the makers of Hero Academy and Orcs Must Die!, Echo Prime blasts off into outer space for some alien butt-kicking, brawler genre action. (Man, lots of space games today.)
Oil Rush: 3D Naval Strategy – ($4.99)
In a post-apocalyptic world in which the polar ice caps have melted and flooded the entire planet, you take command of a naval force trying to keep your boats afloat by protecting critical oil reserves from invaders:
Dream Chamber – ($4.99)
And today's final Game Debut spot goes to Dream Chamber, a humor-fueled, jazz-themed adventure starring a private eye who just can't seem to keep his eyes open.

Price Drops
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – ($4.99)
The impressive KOTOR iPad port that we scored with a lofty 8.8 earlier this year has had its price lightsaber-slashed in half today.
Freebies!
All Glory to the Pixel King! – (Free)
And lastly, free for the first time today is this adventure that lets you custom-build a castle for your personal Pixel King, then challenge other players' creations to find out whose buildings are best.
That’s it for today! Email subscriptions to the App Store Update are still just one sign-up away, right here:
