Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. Also not known are the markets that'll get it, although Europe seems to be on list as a polish retailer has reportedly already started accepting pre-orders for the device. Via

Microsoft releases Hub Keyboard for Android

Microsoft has made yet another app for Android, this time a keyboard. The Microsoft Hub Keyboard looks like a simple keyboard at first but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The keyboard has four main features. The clipboard feature shows you text you had previously copied so you can paste it with a couple of taps. The documents feature lets you login to your Office 365 account and paste the URL of the files by typing their names. The contacts feature lets you type the name of the contact and paste their details by tapping on the suggestions above. Lastly, there is a built-in translator, which can translate the text you're typing to any other language. That aside, the keyboard is extremely basic and does not even have autocorrect, which makes typing extremely difficult. The iPhone 7 might feature a 3D touch home button

After a myriad of leaks and rumors, we are now fairly certain that the new iPhone lineup will be available in the middle of September. This shortness in time also tends to give the rest of the Apple rumor collection a certain air of plausibility as well. However, that logic seems to be failing quickly, with head-turning latecomers to the show, like the recent iPhone 6SE naming rumor or the shots of a trio of devices, instead of a duo. Continuing the same trend of alleged surprises, a new rumor suggests the next iPhone will have a 3D touch home button. The idea is that it will work similar to recent MacBook touchpads. This means being able to distinguish between different levels of force and also providing a vibration or "haptic" feedback to the user, instead of actually pushing in a key. iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model while the touchscreen controller goes back to the iPhone 5s. News Samsung Galaxy S4 to support the Gear smartwatch

by October Samsung's executive vice president for marketing at the company's mobile division Lee Young-hee has revealed that the Galaxy S4 will get support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch by the end of October. Additionally, the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III smartphone are also going to support the company's smartwatch. This will happen by the end of December, according to Lee Young-hee. The compatibility between the products will come as part of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update that the trio of smartphones is bound to get. The update brings the crucial Bluetooth 4.0 LE support that the Galaxy Gear requires. The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch will start selling in South Korea in October. The unsubsidized price of the Galaxy Gear is €350 .
