Best Buy to Sell the Pebble Smartwatch Starting July 7th

Android and iPhone-compatible smartwatch to cost $149.99.

Starting this Sunday, July 7th, the Pebble smartwatch will be available for purchase through Best Buy stores and online. Initially launching through the retailer in Jet Black only, the watch will cost $149.99, the same price that has been offered directly through Pebble for pre-orders since the product's Kickstarter campaign ended last year. Best Buy will begin selling the Cherry Red Pebble in August. All colors, including the grey, orange, and white Pebbles can still be pre-ordered through the company's site.

Those who have already paid for their pre-order of a black, red, orange, or gray Pebble should still expect to receive their watches through the mail. Others who have yet to pay for their pre-order of the Jet Black smartwatch through Pebble directly should feel free to pick one up through Best Buy, as no action is required to cancel the existing pre-order.
While not all Kickstarter backers have received their watches yet, the company states that orders for all colors, with the exception of Arctic White, should have shipping notices by now or have already been delivered. If you selected a white model during the Kickstarter campaign, more than half of the orders have already been sent to Pebble's distribution center.
