State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition Coming to Xbox One

With new content in tow.

Microsoft has announced State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is headed to Xbox One in Spring 2015.
The ambitious open world zombie survival title debuted on Xbox 360 last June and, following a very warm reception, the company has decided to bring it over to the next-gen console.
The Year One Survival Edition of the title includes the original State of Decay with a resolution bumped up to 1080p, along with previously released add-ons Breakdown and Lifeline, as well as some completely new content. More information will be released closer to the game's release.
Earlier this year, developer Undead Labs confirmed it'd signed a multi-year extension deal will Microsoft so this news isn't hugely surprising, but it's good to know new content is on the way.

State of Decay launched on Xbox Live Arcade last June and, despite some nagging technical issues, proved to be an incredibly entertaining open-world zombie game. It earned an 8.9 in IGN's review and, with the help of the PC version launched in September, it surpassed the one-million-units-sold mark by October.
