Instagram adds time-lapse video recording to its repertoire

Instagram added time-lapse video recording to its repertoire of tricks. Dubbed Hyperlapse, the functionality is available only for iOS devices for the time being.

Like all things Instagram, Hyperlapse features clean, easy to ready interface. Users can begin and end video capture via a tap of the device’s screen. A playback speed between 1x and 12x is available for the user to choose before saving the video to the camera roll.
The functionality also offers built-in stabilization for capturing videos while moving. In short, you don’t need to try hard to shoot quality time-lapse videos.
If you have an iOS device and have tried the new Instagram feature, feel free to drop us a line with your impressions in the comments section.
