Motorola Moto G on Verizon receives Android 4.4.4 KitKat

The Google Play Store version of the Moto G already received an update to Android 4.4.4 KitKat and now the company announced it's time for Verizon users to start getting it too. The OTA update should be seeding now to Verizon Moto G phones starting today.

Motorola confirmed that the Moto G and Moto X are in line to receive an update for the upcoming Android L-release. Presumably, aforementioned update should also launch for the LTE version of the phone, but Verizon doesn't offer that version of the phone.
The Moto G has brought a lot of success to Motorola. The company's senior vice president of product management at Rick Osterloh said that the phone is Moto's highest selling smartphone, but exact numbers weren't given.
