Super Mario Run's Android launch slated for March 23

Back in January this year, Nintendo revealed that Super Mario Run for Android will be launching this March. In line with that, the company has now confirmed that the launch is slated for March 23 (Thursday next week).
The listing for the game is there on Google Play, but you cannot download it yet - there's only an option to pre-register (helpful to those who want to get launch-related alerts). The game, which launched on iOS back in December, has brought in over $50 million for the company so far.

The upcoming Oppo Find 7 is rumored to have a lot of cool specs, among which a 2K screen that's as big as 5.7". Oppo officially denied that the Find 7 will have a 5.7" screen (or a 7" one for that matter), but now the company is confirming the 2K resolution. The 2K resolution in question (there are several ) is probably QHD – no, not qHD, Q HD or Quad HD (4x 720p). That's 2,560 x 1,440. #Find5 was the world’s first smartphone with a 5” 1080p display. #Find7 is taking it one step further. #AlwaysImprove pic.twitter.com/gSYadlgOrl — OPPO (@oppo) December 17, 2013 Other rumored specs include a Snapdragon 805 chipset and 3GB RAM to handle the massive resolution. Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Image
Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. If Zeiss does partner up with Nokia/HMD, the first child of that union will likely be the upcoming powerhouse of a phone scheduled for June. Source | Via

Telegram updated with live location, new media player and languages

Image
Telegram has updated its iOS and Android app with a handful of new features. For starters, users can now share their location in real time with a group. While sharing your location, you will now be asked to share your location live for fifteen minutes, one hour or eight hours. This can come handy while coordinating your position with a group and not having to manually post your location every few minutes. Group members will be able to see your current location on a map at all times. The other change is to the media player. Telegram now has a proper music player interface built-in for all the audio files people send. You can tap on a track to play it, then tap on the bar that pops up above to see the player UI. It even shows other tracks sent in the conversation within the tracklist. You can have the audio playing in the background even if you quit the app. There are also new languages that have been added, including French, Indonesian, Malay, Russian and Ukra...
