LG G6 Australia launch set for March 28

The LG G6, which was unveiled at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC), will be launched in Australia on March 28, a day before Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8+ are expected to be made official. The date was revealed by LG Australia.

Australia is apparently going to be the second major market after South Korea to get the handset. The Korean launch is set for March 10. In Australia, the device will be available through carrier Telstra at launch.
Pricing information wasn't revealed. But to give you an idea, LG has already revealed that the phone will carry a price tag of around $800 in its home country.
Carries in other major markets like the United States and Europe have already confirmed that they'll be carrying the handset, although pricing and exact availability info is yet to be revealed.

Galaxy S5 pre-orders in Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic

Samsung Galaxy S5 pre-orders continue to expand throughout Eurasia – following the Netherlands and Romania , the new flagship is now available for pre-order in Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic . In Sweden, the Galaxy S5 is available for around SEK 6,200 (€700 / $950) off contract, but several carriers have offers too. Tre (Swedish Three) prices start at SEK 328 / month and the carrier will throw in a free 32GB microSD card . Telia has it at SEK 380 / month and SEK 6,400 on prepaid. Tele2 has the blue Galaxy S5 (the other two carriers have only Black and White) and with a 2-year contract, the monthly cost is SEK 424. A pre-paid option is available too at SEK 6,400. In Russia , Samsung's official page advertises the pre-order at RUB 30,000 (€600 / $830). If you pre-order by April 9, you'll get a RUB 2,000 voucher to spend on Samsung Apps. New rumor suggests OnePlus 3T will be cheaper in China

When the OnePlus 3T was announced last week, its US and European pricing information was revealed - the device will carry $439 and $479 price tag for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively, in the US, while in the EU the prices will be €439 and €479, respectively. Now, a new rumor has revealed the expected price tag the handset will carry in China. According to the rumor, the 64GB variant of the phone is expected to cost RMB 2,799 (around $405), while the 128GB model will set you back RMB 3,299 (around $480). Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. Last week, there were reports that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature facial recognition technology, which will be used to unlock the phone. Now, a new report is suggesting that the tech will be used for mobile payments as well.
