HTC sells a smartphone factory to boost VR business

Former smartphone giant HTC sold a Shanghai phone manufacturing facility so it boost its investments in the VR business. The buyer Xingbao Information Technology paid CNY630 million or approximately $91.17 million for the plant.
Thedeal with XIT should not hurt distribution and sales of the latest HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play.
