Samsung Galaxy S8 which leaked earlier today in some more photos will stay with its 12 MP camera but will match the Sony Xperia XZ Premium for slo-mo videos - it will shoot 1000 fps videos. The iris scanner will also be improved with a tiny 3.7 MP camera for better eye recognition, industry sources revealed. There’s plenty of leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S8, but this one sure sounds interesting. The camera is said to retain its 12 MP resolution, but this time the Korean company added DRAM enabling the super high framerates. Sony Xperia XZ Premium that was unveiled at MWC 2017 delivers that functionality thanks to the Sony’s IMX400 sensor but the report says Samsung won’t be using the same one. In addition, Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an 8 MP front camera and another, smaller one - 3.7 MP with RGB sensor that will be used for better iris recognition. The phone will be unveiled in two weeks in New York and London on March 29, so we'll know for sure if these rumors hold any water. Source (in Korean) | Via

OnePlus has pushed out OxygenOS 4.1.0 for both the OnePlus 3 and the 3T, which brings with it a couple of additions and miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes.
The first big change is the upgrade to Android 7.1.1 from the 7.0 that was in the previous build. 7.1.1 comes with a bunch of changes on the Nexus devices, however, the list of changes on custom ROMs like OxygenOS is very small and the only thing we could spot is a new emoji set with more gender diverse emoji.
Another thing that the update adds is expanded screenshots, which lets you scroll and take longer screenshots. The update also brings Google security patch for March.
The list of improvements include reduced motion blur while shooting moving objects, improved video stabilization, improved Wi-Fi connectivity, improved Bluetooth connectivity, and general bug fixes.
The update is rolling out now to users in batches and will be available for everyone over time. Alternatively, you could install a VPN and download the update by setting your location to Canada. However, we do not recommend this as the staged rollout is to ensure that only a small percentage of users get affected by any issues that might be present in the update. It would be preferable for the update to normally become available in your region so you can be sure there aren't any issues with it.
