Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 goes official

Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy Ace 4 with a 4.5" display, 1.0 GHz dual-core processor and TouchWiz Essence interface on top of Android 4.4 KitKat.
TouchWiz Essence is a simplified part of the TouchWiz interface that should that we're yet to see explained.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 doesn't tread away from the usual Ace design language but does offer a textured finish on the back.

There's not much else in terms of specs or availability and price but we'll keep our eyes open and ears on the ground and will update once we hear more.

Microsoft has made yet another app for Android, this time a keyboard. The Microsoft Hub Keyboard looks like a simple keyboard at first but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The keyboard has four main features. The clipboard feature shows you text you had previously copied so you can paste it with a couple of taps. The documents feature lets you login to your Office 365 account and paste the URL of the files by typing their names. The contacts feature lets you type the name of the contact and paste their details by tapping on the suggestions above. Lastly, there is a built-in translator, which can translate the text you're typing to any other language. That aside, the keyboard is extremely basic and does not even have autocorrect, which makes typing extremely difficult. Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. Opera Max celebrates 50 million Android users with VIP mode

Opera announced that their data-saving app Opera Max reached 50 million active users. Along with that it updated the app which now has VIP mode for unlimited data savings and privacy. Opera was always aiming to compress the web. With their Opera Max free VPN application you are able to lower your data usage when browsing and streaming audio and video. The only requirement is to tap a button every 12 hours to lengthen you data-saving experience. When tapped, the app shows various ads which are the main income for the data-compressing servers of the Norwegian software company. Surgeon Simulator for iPad is a port of the popular game that was released on Steam last year. Although the game claims to be a simulator, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The game had you performing hilarious operations on an unsuspecting patient in ways that would send an actual surgeon or patient reeling in horror. Now the same game has been ported over completely to the iPad, which is the only platform right now other than the desktop PC to have the game. How to Use PS4 Remote Play

PlayStation Vita Remote Play allows PS4 users to play console games through their PS Vita. After updating software on both platforms to the most recent firmware, you will find a new prompt on the PS Vita that states "PS4 Link". Clicking on this will search for an active PlayStation 4 in proximity range.  You must allow your PS4 and Vita to link up first, however. Go into your PlayStation 4's Add Device screen to find a temporary code that you can input on your PS Vita device. This will grant access across the two platforms, allowing you to instantly peruse the Remote feature.
