Apple iPhone 6 pricing info from China promises a price drop


A report from China about the Apple iPhone 6 confirms the September 19 launch date (initially unveiled by German carrier Deutsche Telekom) and offers price for the 4.7" version of the upcoming iPhone.
The 32GB version is slated to cost CNY 5,300 ($850 / €625), while the 64GB version will be CNY 6,300 ($1010 / €740). That's actually a drop in price as a 16GB iPhone 5s currently costs CNY 5,300 in China, while the 64GB model is CNY 6,900, so if the rumors pan out we can expect international prices to drop.
It's not clear if there will be a 16GB version at all. The price of the bigger 5.5" iPhone 6 also remains unclear. If you missed it, check out the extensive video that compares the 4.7" and 5.5" iPhone 6 options (in dummy form).
Apple's manufacturing partners are reportedly bolstering their capacity before the launch. Foxconn is recruiting 10 thousand new employees while Pegatron is upping its staff by 30%. The two companies will split the manufacturing 70 / 30.

Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. Opera announced that their data-saving app Opera Max reached 50 million active users. Along with that it updated the app which now has VIP mode for unlimited data savings and privacy. Opera was always aiming to compress the web. With their Opera Max free VPN application you are able to lower your data usage when browsing and streaming audio and video. PlayStation Vita Remote Play allows PS4 users to play console games through their PS Vita. After updating software on both platforms to the most recent firmware, you will find a new prompt on the PS Vita that states "PS4 Link".
