HTC Desire 516 launched in India for $220

It was just yesterday when we got the first reports about an upcoming HTC Desire 516. It was an import tracking website that told about the arrival of thousands of HTC Desire 516 dummy units.

Today brand-new HTC Desire 516 smartphones are already on sale at the Indian branch of eBay. You can grab one for INR13,302 or $220.
HTC Desire 516 features a 5" qHD display and runs on Snapdragon 200 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor, Adreno 302 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specs include a 5MP rear and a 2MP front camera, a LED flash, 4GB expandable storage and a 1,950mAh battery. The Desire 516 is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean skinned with HTC Sense UI v5.1.
The device is already available in China on all major carriers and now HTC is expanding its availability over to India. It's yet to be confirmed if other markets will be joining the list, but it seems likely at this point.
