TENAA reveals vivo Y55A with octa-core CPU, 5.2-inch display

A new vivo smartphone has been certified by the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA, revealing some of its key specifications. The device is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, and sports a 5.2-inch HD display.
RAM is 2GB, while internal memory is 16GB, although expandable. In terms of camera, the handset features an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. A 2,650mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.
Measuring 147.9 × 72.9 × 7.5mm, and weighing in at 142g, the Y55A runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The TENAA listing reveals only one color option: Rose Gold.
