BlackBerry DTEK60’s press photos leaked, looks exactly like an Alcatel Idol 4S

The BlackBerry DTEK60 leaks are in full effect. The latest one features the phone’s official press photos. That being said, the phone looks exactly like an Alcatel IDOL 4S, down to the fingerprint sensor and camera placements, screen size and resolution, as well as the dual-direction stereo speakers.
These photos coincide with @evleaks’ leak from earlier which appears in a little icon next to the DTEK60 banner that was leaked.
TCL is contracted to manufacture the BlackBerry DTEK60, parent company of Alcatel; hence the family resemblance. Unlike the IDOL 4S, however, the DTEK60 will feature a Snapdragon 820 CPU (instead of a Snapdragon 652) 4GB of RAM (instead of 3GB), 21MP rear-facing camera (VS the 4S’s 16MP camera), and, of course, will feature BlackBerry’s own Android skin. And as a bonus, from the looks of these photos, the DTEK60 will feature a USB-C port, unlike the 4S which uses a micro-USB port.
All the other specs remain the same. QHD 5.5 inch screen, metal frame build, 8MP front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card, and that rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Although the Alcatel IDOL 4S is a dualSIM phone, it’s not known for sure if the DTEK60 will be offered in this configuration. The only hint that we have is if we look at the FCC certifications which provided two different model numbers. BBA100-1 and BBA100-2. We can only assume the latter number represents a dualSIM model, otherwise (more likely) it could represent a CDMA vs a GSM model.
Until then, the BlackBerry DTEK60 is slated for a November 11 release and said to carry a price of 699 CAD (which equates to about 530 USD). This could mean a retail price for the US for anywhere between $499 and $549.
Thanks for the tip, Roland!
