BLU Life One X2 launches with 1080p screen, 16 MP camera for $149.99

BLU is continuously pushing out decently specced and highly affordable Android smartphones, which it's selling in the US unlocked. Today it's time for the Life One X to get a successor, the imaginatively named BLU Life One X2.
The Life One X2 has a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 16 MP main camera with phase detection and laser autofocus and a LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper with a LED flash of its own, the Snapdragon 430 SoC (with a 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), Cat.4 LTE, a microSD slot, and a 3,000 mAh battery (with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0). It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It comes with a metal finish and a fingerprint scanner in the Home button.

Two versions are already up for pre-order at Amazon. For $149.99, you get the one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while $199.99 nets you 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. However, if you pre-order the BLU Life One X2 today or tomorrow, you get 10% off, so the cheaper variant is $134.99 while the more high-end one goes for just $179.99. Obviously all of these are prices for the unlocked handset, which you can use on networks such as AT&T and T-Mobile. For now you can grab one in Gun Metal Grey (for which shipping starts on October 7), while the Rose Gold color option pictured above will become available in November.
