Samsung Galaxy Note7 UK exchange program is now live

After Canada and the United States, Samsung has now launched its Galaxy Note7 exchange program in the UK as well, allowing customers to get their faulty Note7 units replaced with a safer one.
It's worth mentioning that replacement units in the UK feature a new green-colored battery icon, instead of the white indicator in the faulty ones. That's unlike the new stock in Canada and the US that - users say - features only a small black square on the box label to indicate that those are the new Note7 units.
"Our absolute priority is the safety of our customers – that's why we are asking all Galaxy Note 7 customers to act now and exchange today," said the company's UK Mobile VP Conor Pierce. "We would like to apologize to our Note 7 customers for not meeting the standard of product excellence that they have come to expect from Samsung and we sincerely thank them for their understanding and patience."
"We are confident that by exchanging their existing device for a new Note 7, customers can expect to enjoy a smartphone experience of the very highest quality."
If you are a Galaxy Note7 owner in the UK, you can get your unit replaced from the retailer or carrier you bought it from. Samsung also has a dedicated support team for handling replacements - you can reach them at 0330 7261000.
