Samsung Galaxy A8 is also getting September security update

After unlocked Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units in Europe and T-Mobile variants of the handsets in the US, another Samsung phone has started receiving the Android security update for September.
One of our readers has tipped us that the update has started hitting the Samsung Galaxy A8 (SM-A800F) as well.
Weighing in at around 295MB, the update also includes improvements related to voice calls, device performance, and memory management. Some optimizations related to battery usage are also there.
