Huawei Honor Play 5X goes official with 13MP camera, 4000mAh battery [Update: it's called Enjoy 5]

While we were expecting Huawei to update its Honor line, the company has announced a smartphone dubbed Enjoy 5. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with quad-core CPU, and sports a 5-inch HD display.
The handset has 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a massive 4,000mAh battery. In terms of camera, the Enjoy 5 features a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. It offers dual-SIM support as well as 4G LTE connectivity, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based EMUI 3.0.
Weighing in at 160 gms and measuring 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7 mm, the smartphone carries a price tag of RMB 999 ($158). This comes just days after the Chinese company announced the Honor 7 smartphone for the Indian market.

Galaxy A9 Pro international variant is now Bluetooth certified

The Samsung SM-A910F - which is alleged to be the international variant of the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) - has now received certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), indicating an imminent launch. This comes just a few weeks after the handset (both standard and dual-SIM models) received Wi-Fi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Prior to that, the phone was spotted on India's import/export tracking website Zauba. Sadly, pricing and availability details of the Samsung SM-A910F aren't yet known. Leaked Nexus Sailfish build file hints at Snapdragon 820 and 1080p display

After a bunch of rumors and leaks about the next batch of Nexus devices, it's now almost certain that HTC will be tasked with producing Google's upcoming pair. Not long ago, some specs were leaked for both the bigger model codenamed Marlin and the smaller one, codenamed Sailfish . Today a fresh new leak, courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks) seems to shed a bit more light on the matter. It is a leaked build.prop file, allegedly from the Salifish handset. For anyone unfamiliar with the guts of the Android OS, the file in question typically holds quite a few internal settings and configuration values that often reveal the hardware platform it is intended for. In this case, reading thorough the text, we can spot both the "ARM64-V8a" and "msm8996" strings, which point squarely at Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 SoC. iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model while the touchscreen controller goes back to the iPhone 5s. HTC One (M8) mini is in the works, to go on sale in May

According to an inside source from a UK retailer, HTC is working on a mini version of the recently launched second generation HTC One (M8) . The same source brought us correct info before, which lends credibility to this news. The HTC One (M8) mini will keep the new 90% aluminum unibody design. The HTC One (M8) mini is rumored to come with a 4.5" display of unknown resolution, but we think HTC will probably stick to 720p for the mini fella. There is nothing mentioned on the chipset, but apparently the HTC One (M8) mini will come with a single UltraPixel camera on its back. The UltraPixel duo will be a reserved key feature to the M8 flagship only. Finally, HTC One (M8) mini is tipped to launch this May. This means we should get an official announcement should happen in the upcoming weeks.
