Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus arrive in 42 new countries

Apple has revealed that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones, which were released on September 25 in the first wave of countries, will be available in over 40 more countries by October 10 - tomorrow.
Over 35 countries will get the handsets today. These include Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
Those regions where the devices will be released tomorrow are: Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. A third wave will see the flagships releasing in 24 additional countries starting October 16, including Turkey, India, and Malaysia, taking the total count of countries to over 75 and making it the fastest iPhone roll-out ever.
The Cupertino-based company plans to release the smartphones, which are now available unlocked in the United States, in more than 130 countries by the end of 2015.

I originally wanted to do this entire story with the typos left in. My first day using the Touch Cover was plagued with so many typos, I figured it would be a fun way to show off how steep the learning curve on the new Touch Cover is. OnePlus One is the first smartphone to record in DCI 4K, check it out in action

4K video recording has started to become a staple feature of all the flagship Android smartphone these days. But the version of 4K that these phones record in is the UHD resolution, or the ones used by 4K televisions, and is exactly four times the resolution of full HD. But there is another version of 4K and that is DCI 4K, which is what the professional cinema cameras use while recording in 4K. The difference here is the added width; whereas UHD is 3840×2160, DCI 4K is 4096×2160. But while several smartphones record in UHD, the OnePlus One is the first to record in DCI 4K.
