Asus ZenWatch 2 hits the shelves of the US Google Store

The stylish and affordable Asus ZenWatch 2 is now available to order from the Google Store in the United States. The smartwatch is priced at $149.99, so it is currently one of the most affordable Android Wear offerings on the market.
For the time being, interested users can only pre-order the 49mm variant of the smartwatch with navy blue band. A 45mm version with light blue band is also listed by Google with the same price tag, though it is not yet available to order.
Like many of its competitors, Asus ZenWatch 2 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage. The 49mm model has a 1.63” AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixels, while the 45mm variant packs a 1.45” AMOLED unit with 280 x 280 pixels.
