YiSpector malware: Apple says issue was already fixed in iOS 8.4

Just a day after US-based cyber-security firm Palo Alto Network released details of the newly-discovered YiSpecter malware, Apple issued a formal statement on the matter, effectively indicating that the malware isn't a major threat.
"This issue only impacts users on older versions of iOS who have also downloaded malware from untrusted sources," the Cupertino-based company said. "We addressed this specific issue in iOS 8.4 and we have also blocked the identified apps that distribute this malware."
The iPhone-maker also urged users to install the latest version of iOS and to only download from trusted sources like the App Store.
For those who aren't aware, the YiSpecter malware is capable of downloading, installing, and launching arbitrary iOS apps, as well as displaying full screen advertisements whenever you execute a normal app. Researchers claimed that it targets both jailbroken and non-jailbroken iOS devices.

Google Maps now has a bottom bar for real-time traffic and transit info

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

Original TV Shows Landing on Xbox in Early 2014

During an industry breakfast in Los Angeles, Microsoft's president of entertainment and digital, Nancy Tellem, said the planned original TV programming for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will tentatively launch in early 2014. According to Variety , Tellem acknowledged the process to get the new shows on Xbox consoles has been "slower" than expected.
