Samsung Galaxy S8 said to come with 8GB RAM, UFS 2.1 storage tipped as well

According to a new rumor out of China, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 8GB of RAM, up from the 6GB figure we've been hearing so far. The rumor came in the form of a Weibo post from a tipster who is said to have a decent record when it comes to Samsung related leaks.
The rumor notes that the phone will run an in-house SoC, produced using the 10nm process. It also says that the device will feature UFS 2.1 flash storage.
In case you missed, a recent report from the tech giant's home country of South Korea said that the phone will come in two sizes: around 5-inch (Galaxy S8) and 6-inch (Galaxy S8 Plus). Both are expected to be unveiled at an event in New York in April.

Video shot on LG V20 details the advantages of Android 7.0 Nougat

With no IFA to worry about, LG is setting up for its own September 6 party and it's cooking up some nougat - but the recipe is half about actual nougat and half about how awesome the new LG V20 will be. It will be the first phone to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat (no Nexus event yet). September security update starts hitting T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

T-Mobile has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units on its network. The carrier's website says that the update - which weighs in at over 350MB - brings latest security patches, changes related to time/date, and various system improvements. However a quick look at the official change-log reveals that the update includes Samsung Cloud, sync feature for video and photos, as well as back up and restore features for apps, home screen, music files, and documents.
