Cyanogen services shutting down on December 31

Cyanogen, the company behind the Cyanogen OS is shutting down operations at the end of this year, specifically on December 31, 2016. As part of this process, all services will be shutdown and development on nightly builds will cease from that day onwards.
As for CyanogenMod, the open source Android based operating system developed and maintained by the community, it will continue to exist solely on the efforts of developers who want to continue developing it as a personal project. The source code will remain available for anyone wanting to continue working on it.
The company revealed this information in a rather brief blog post.
