Nokia to announce up to 5 new devices in 2017

Mobile World Congress in February is the place-to-be for all major players in the mobile industry (except for Apple, that is) and that’s exactly the stage HMD Global will use to try and start the Nokia fightback.
Sources report that at least four new devices will be revealed next year along with the already leaked Nokia D1C that we told you about last month.
The devices will feature between 5" and 5.7" displays with WQHD or FHD resolutions. Sadly there’s info only regarding D1C and it says that the device will come in two different options - one priced at about $200 with 3 GB RAM and 5.5” display and a cheaper $150 version with 2GB RAM and 5” FullHD display.
Such specs clearly aren’t near flagship-worthy, so HMD Global either has another ace up its sleeve or it plans on testing the water with some mid-range offerings before going for the premium tiers.

The AT&T version of the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has payed a visit to the FCC, carrying the model number SM-P907A. The tablet packs 4G LTE connectivity and will operate on the LTE bands 4 and 17. There’s every indication that outside of this, the NotePRO 12.2 for AT&amp:T will feature the same specs as its international sibling. Under the hood of the tablet lives a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.3GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There’s a microSD card slot on board as well as the S Pen stylus. Garmin Vivofit Jr. tracks your kid's activity and motivates it along the way

Garmin has announced a new fitness tracker for children aged four to nine, and it's called the Vivofit Jr. Along with its functions as an activity tracker, Garmin also boasts it as a motivator since its aim is to help inactive kids create new and healthy habits. The Vivofit Jr. has a one-year of battery life, as well as water resistance, sleep monitoring and step counting. It also comes in a bunch of interesting looking designs. Garmin bundles the activity tracker with a free app, which is compatible with iOS and Android. It has a "mobile adventure trail", which helps the child move about for a 60-minute daily goal. The color options you see above are digi camo, real flower and broken lava but plain black and purple strike will also be available. Nvidia Launches GameStream, Adds Shield Button-Mapping

Shield updated to Android 4.3. If you're an owner of Nvidia's portable Shield gaming console, there's some fairly hefty announcements coming your way today. As IGN previously reported from an event in Montreal , GameStream--beaming compatible PC games from your GTX-ready rig to the Shield--has officially left beta. And on the Android side, the Shield's library of mobile games has expanded considerably. After its launch, the Shield was only compatible with a particular list of Android games. But starting today, Nvidia has launched the Shield Gamepad Mapper, allowing nearly any Android title to be converted to Shield's controller inputs. Nvidia will release button mapping profiles on a weekly basis via over-the-air updates, but it's also possible to set your own configurations and share them with friends. NSA is able to install spyware on all iPhones

A leaked NSA document proves that the agency is capable of easily deploying spyware on all iPhones and can have access to user data including SMS messages, contacts, and even a user's location by utilizing cell tower information. What's even scarier is that the NSA can remotely access an iPhone's camera and microphone that is infected with the spyware. According to the leaked intel, the initiative, named DROPOUT JEEP, began in October of 2008. The document delineates that the NSA would need physical access to the device in order to install the software, which doesn't sound too bad. However, the German Magazine, Der Spiegel, which also published the DROPOUT JEEP data, believes that the NSA rerouted shipments of brand new iPhones before they went out to consumers to install the spyware. Even worse, there was some speculation a while back from Edward Snowden, that suggests Apple may have allowed the NSA access to their products. The news was reported...
