YouTube Red now also available in Australia and New Zealand
After launching
it in the US last year, Google has expanded the availability of the
YouTube Red ad-free subscription service to a couple of more countries -
the service is now available in Australia and New Zealand as well.

Apparently, the search giant hasn't yet made a formal announcement in
this regard, just the YouTube help pages were updated with the new
locations. Also, it isn't yet clear how much the service will cost in
these new regions.
To refresh, aside from being ad-free, YouTube Red also lets you save videos on your mobile for viewing offline, as well as supports background playback. It costs $9.99 a month, and comes with a one-month free trial.
