Retailer Suggests Titanfall Beta Coming in February

Allegedly starts on Valentine's Day and runs for less than a week.

Titanfall will be getting a beta next month, if posters put up by a French retailer are to be believed.
Xboxygen was sent the photos by a reader, which allegedly come from a Micromania store in France. In them, you can see posters explaining a beta for the game will begin on February 14.
The site goes on to say an insider has said the beta will run until February 19, and will be available exclusively from Micromania stores in France and GameStop stores elsewhere.

Titanfall's alpha test concluded last week, though only those invited by email got a chance to try the game out. The possibility of a beta would give a much larger number of people the chance to try out the game ahead of launch, and provide an opportunity to properly stress test the servers. When asked if a beta was likely, Respawn neither confirmed nor denied anything.
In case you missed it a couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that Titanfall matches would be capped at six human players per team. When this elicited fan backlash, the developer explained that mechs and AI bots will mean there'll be 48 combatants in every match.
Titanfall will hit Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13, 2014 in Europe and Australia, replete with a pretty impressive Collector's Edition and an even cooler limited edition Xbox One controller, though it won't come with mod support at launch. In the meantime, tide yourself over by reading up on the many different mechs available in the game.
