Apple's iPhone 6 Rumored to Feature Bigger Screen

New smartphone may include 4.8-inch display

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have only been on the market for a matter of months, so it's clearly time for the iPhone 6 rumor mill to start churning. As reported by SlashGear, an analyst with Cowen and Company is claiming Apple's next smartphone will feature a 4.8-inch display.

The analyst, Timothy Arcuri, claims to have sources within the Apple supply chain. And beyond the larger screen, Arcuri also says the iPhone 6 will feature 802.11ac wi-fi. If history serves right--and in the case of Apple, this is usually the case--the next iPhone announcement should arrive later this year.
Increasing the iPhone's display size remained a supposed point of contention at Apple until the launch of the iPhone 5, when Cupertino boosted the screen to four inches. But as with all unconfirmed news, be sure to take this latest rumor with a dose of skepticism.
