Leaked logo confirms Samsung will use the name “Galaxy S8+”

Today, Evan Blass tweeted an image of leaked branding for what could be the official logo, font, and colors of the Note7)">Galaxy S8+. This, in turn, also sort of confirms that the “Plus” name of a larger Galaxy S8 will be indicated with a “+” sign rather than “Plus” like the iPhone does.
Why wouldn’t it? After all, this is exactly how the Galaxy S6 edge+ was named. Calling it a "Galaxy S8 edge+" would also be redundant, as we are expecting both Galaxy S8 models to be dual-curved.
It’s quite likely that Samsung will no longer be offering a flat-screened counterpart of its newest flagship model (based on all leaks we've seen so far). The Galaxy S8 would be the second Samsung device to only be available in a dual-curved version (first, was the Note7).
The latest rumor points to a 5.7-inch screen size for the standard Galaxy S8 while the Samsung Galaxy S8+ could sport a larger 6.0-inch screen, both with dual-curved edges and really small bezels.

Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. New rumor suggests OnePlus 3T will be cheaper in China

When the OnePlus 3T was announced last week, its US and European pricing information was revealed - the device will carry $439 and $479 price tag for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively, in the US, while in the EU the prices will be €439 and €479, respectively. Now, a new rumor has revealed the expected price tag the handset will carry in China. According to the rumor, the 64GB variant of the phone is expected to cost RMB 2,799 (around $405), while the 128GB model will set you back RMB 3,299 (around $480). The report adds that there's a possibility that the company might bring down the price of the 128GB variant to RMB 3,199 (around $465). The device is priced at IDR 14.999 million, which translates into around a whopping $1135 at current exchange rates. Last week, there were reports that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature facial recognition technology, which will be used to unlock the phone. Now, a new report is suggesting that the tech will be used for mobile payments as well. We already know that the Xiaomi Mi Max - which is said to sport a mammoth 6.4-inch FullHD display - will be unveiled on May 10. However, turns out that Xiaomi will make a couple of more announcements that day - the company has confirmed that the next major iteration of its MIUI ROM as well as the Mi Band 2 will also be unveiled on May 10. "Evolving from the first version in 2010, MIUI has served as the operating system for over 150 million across the globe," a post on MIUI forum said.
