HMD will update the current Nokia phones to Android P

HMD will update the current Nokia roster to Android 8.0 Oreo but the company has committed to do more than that – it will update these phones to Android P as well (the next major Android version).
HMD will update the current Nokia phones to Android PAll the current Nokias launched on Nougat and will live to see two major OS updates. That’s better than many Androids get, especially on the lower rungs of the ladder where the Nokia 3 lives. We guess those are the advantages of running near-stock Android – HMD doesn’t have to do as much to push out the update.
Anyway, HMD’s Chief Technology Officer has commented that the company is open to unlocking the bootloaders of its phones. This will ensure that once the official updates stop – that won’t be for a while, but still – you can load up Lineage OS or something similar and keep your phone up to date and secure.
The bootloader may have to wait, though, at least until the devs have pushed Oreo out the door. The work is underway and the updates should be out by the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 to come with new design, flexible display

The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch has been rumored to come out in tandem with the Galaxy S5. Now a new publication in a Korean media, which claims to be in touch with Samsung insiders, the new generation smartwatch will be announced in March or April. The announcement is likely to happen in London, probably at an Unpacked event. The insider also claims that Samsung has felt the need to radically change the design of the upcoming Gear. The overhaul will include a new, flexible OLED display. 10,000 Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact owners can test drive Android Marshmallow

Original TV Shows Landing on Xbox in Early 2014

During an industry breakfast in Los Angeles, Microsoft's president of entertainment and digital, Nancy Tellem, said the planned original TV programming for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One will tentatively launch in early 2014. Many owners of the LG G4 have complained about a bootloop issue, but so far without receiving any assistance whatsoever from the Korean smartphone maker. Well, that's finally changed. LG has now acknowledged the bootloop issue, and after a thorough investigation has concluded that a hardware problem is to blame. Specifically, the bootloops are caused by a "loose contact between components". The company has vowed to fix the problem for affected devices, with no additional cost for its customers of course. It turns out that the G4 units experiencing this are not from one particular retail partner - they can be among those sold by carriers, or third-parties.
