Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) starts getting January security patch

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) has started receiving a new update. Arriving as firmware version XXS3BQA6, the update - which is currently being rolled out by Vodafone to units in Europe - brings along Android security fixes for the month of January.
As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time before the update notification pops up on your device's screen. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.
