TAG Heuer to launch a new smartwatch in May this year
Luxury timepiece maker Tag Heuer will launch a new smartwatch in May this year, less than a couple of year's after launching
the world's first Android Wear-powered luxury watch (dubbed Connected).
This was revealed by the company's CEO Jean-Claude Biver in a recent
interview.

Biver didn't reveal much about the device, except that it will
feature GPS, have a comparatively longer battery life, better reception,
as well as an improved display. The watch is expected to run Android
Wear 2.0, which is said to be coming next month.
The CEO also revealed that the company shipped a total of 56,000 units of the Connected watch, which launched carrying a $1,500 price tag. That number was more than double compared to what they initially anticipated. He said the firm expects to ship around 150,000 units of the upcoming watch.
