Portal Coming Soon to Android-Based Nvidia Shield

First official mobile release of Valve's 2007 hit.

Almost seven years have passed since Valve released the original Portal, twisting our brains with its unique blend of platforming and puzzle-solving. Despite PC, Mac, and console versions--not to mention the sequel, of course--Portal has somehow never officially launched for mobile. But Valve and Nvidia are now working on an Android version, coming "soon."

Portal will land on Nvidia's Android-based Shield device sometime in the near future, according to today's announcement. "Our companies have a strong history working together and we’re looking forward to Portal‘s arrival on Shield," said Valve's Doug Lombardi.
The Nvidia Shield currently supports over 300 Android games, in addition to offering the ability to stream PC games with a compatible Nvidia GPU.
