iPhone 6 Reportedly Releasing in September in Two Sizes

Choose between 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models.

Apple's iPhone 6 will release as early as September in two sizes, according to a recent report.
Nikkei reports that the iPhone 6 will come in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions, which are both larger than the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5S. In addition, the new smartphone's display resolution will see a significant boost from current models.

Photos of the purported iPhone 6 leaked last month, showcasing a larger screen, an ultra thin bezel, and Touch ID. And rumors about the new Apple smartphone sporting a bigger display popped up earlier this year, with reports pegging the size at 4.8 inches, which is close to the latest information.
Along with news about Apple's iPhone 6, there have been numerous rumors about iOS 8 over the past few months. Reports suggest iOS 8 will focus on fitness and overhaul the Maps app. Stay tuned to IGN for all the latest on iPhone 6 and iOS 8.

Future Nokias may have Carl Zeiss optics, but HMD is playing coy

Long before Huawei partnered with a legendary German camera brand, Nokia put Carl Zeiss-branded lenses on its phones. A recent Tweet led people to believe that partnership will not carry over to the HMD-made phones, but now there’s a glimmer of hope. It turns out that was a mistake - the tweet only meant that the current Nokias (6, 5 and 3) do not have Zeiss optics, not that new phones definitely will not have them. Of course, that’s not the same as confirming that they will, even though the tweet ends with a tantalizing “stay tuned”. When the OnePlus 3T was announced last week, its US and European pricing information was revealed - the device will carry $439 and $479 price tag for the 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively, in the US, while in the EU the prices will be €439 and €479, respectively. Now, a new rumor has revealed the expected price tag the handset will carry in China. According to the rumor, the 64GB variant of the phone is expected to cost RMB 2,799 (around $405), while the 128GB model will set you back RMB 3,299 (around $480). The report adds that there's a possibility that the company might bring down the price of the 128GB variant to RMB 3,199 (around $465). The device is priced at IDR 14.999 million, which translates into around a whopping $1135 at current exchange rates. Last week, there were reports that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature facial recognition technology, which will be used to unlock the phone. Now, a new report is suggesting that the tech will be used for mobile payments as well. MIUI 8 to arrive alongside Mi Max on May 10, Xiaomi confirms

We already know that the Xiaomi Mi Max - which is said to sport a mammoth 6.4-inch FullHD display - will be unveiled on May 10. However, turns out that Xiaomi will make a couple of more announcements that day - the company has confirmed that the next major iteration of its MIUI ROM as well as the Mi Band 2 will also be unveiled on May 10. "Evolving from the first version in 2010, MIUI has served as the operating system for over 150 million across the globe," a post on MIUI forum said. "On May 10, we will introduce you MIUI 8, with the features you always wanted and new designs beyond your imagination."
